When Brian opened The Smokey Cigar in December 2009 his main goal was to provide his father with a business to run during his retirement. “My father has been a cigar smoker for near 50 years and his knowledge and expertise can benefit new and seasoned cigar smokers,” said Brian. “I like to enjoy a good cigar myself and wanted to create an environment that is conducive to the needs of the cigar smoker and an environment that promotes a sense of community and friendship.” From this beginning came what is today referred to as a warm, welcoming, cigar smoking environment with great selection and a great atmosphere. |

| Our lounge is very inviting with rooms filled with comfortable leather seating and several HD-TVs to provide you with entertainment. We maintain a 300 sq. ft. humidor with nearly 800 different brands of cigars and one of the largest varieties and selection in the Middle Tennessee area. We have a large VIP room that is open to the public but can be closed off for private venues and parties. The Smokey Cigar encourages patrons to bring their favorite food and cocktails to enjoy while watching the game or enjoying their cigar. We offer a locker service where customers can leave their favorite and most prized cigars in a perfectly maintained 70/70 environment. | ||

| Brian is currently a Strategic Business Manager for General Dynamics C4 Systems. Prior to joining GDC4S, Brian, along with some good friends, worked for a small software company, Ascend Intelligence, developing a product for Company level leaders to share information. The success of that product lead to the acquisition of Ascend Intelligence by GDC4S in January 2010. | ||
| Brian received his Bachelor's degree from the University of Central Florida and his MBA from Loyola University in Chicago. | ||
Managing Member – Bob Slaughter: Robert "Bob" Slaughter retired from more than 40 years of service in the airline industry in 2006 and along with his wife Valerie relocated to the Hendersonville area to be with his son, daughter-in-law, and grandkids. Bob was raised in Rensselaer, IN, served four years in the US Air Force in Colorado, and relocated to Miami, FL where he worked for National Airlines, Pan American Airlines, and finally with Air Tran before retiring. Bob is our resident expert on all things cigar related and is the face you will see most during the week. |

Managing Member – Steve Winter: Steve with his wife Christy, and two kids, Kyle and Ashlyn, moved back to Hendersonville in December 2005 from White House, TN. After graduating college, Steve moved to Hendersonville in 1996 with Christy. Steve was a police officer with Hendersonville Police Dept. until 1998. After leaving HPD, Steve has been a sales professional for ADT Security Services since 1998. He is an eight-time club excellence award winner and in the top 5% in sales for ADT Security. Steve enjoys time with his family and being involved with his children's school and sports while his wife is in nursing school. |
